NetBit Electronics was founded in 1998 by a group of engineers and executives from the battery charger industry. The founding group has numerous years of market and technical experience, and has been involved in battery charging projects with many major OEM's in the US, Europe, and the Far East. The company holds numerous battery charging patents, covering all major battery types.

NetBit Electronics has been designing and producing chargers for most major types of batteries for a variety of products. These products include camcorders, cellular telephones, two-way radios, laptop computers, power tools and point-of-sale terminals. Many proprietary, state-of-the-art features have been incorporated into these designs, which include cell conditioning (to remove the ?memory? effect in nickel cadmium batteries), very rapid charging of cellular phones (as fast as 15 minutes) and, most recently, an ultra low-cost lithium charger for cellular phones and PDA?s.
